BCBG Max Azria Knows About Comfort (Part 1)

Coco Chanel used to say:  “Fashion has two purposes: comfort and love. Beauty comes when fashion succeeds.”

Well, it seems to me Max Azria has got that very clear and decided to apply it on BCBG’s Prefall 2013 collection.

The last place of my BCBG Max Azria Prefall 2013’s Top 3 goes to:

1. Look A)

Blouse: The blouse is XL style, which means it doesn’t matter if December left you some souvenirs bumping here & there, the garment will cover it. The darker colour is on the front, why? Because darker colours make us look thinner and generally, the first thing somebody sees of us, is the front. The back of the blouse is amazing. Look at the way the fabric falls! It helps the illusion of a slimmer and taller person due to the pleats, which form some sort of vertical lines. The movement the pleats add to the blouse make us look lighter and ethereal, fresher… The cut of the sleeves is perfect because it’s diagonal, which equals leaner arms.

Pants: The pants are super cool and they’re XL style as well. And here, I’ll tell you a secret: they aren’t as big as they appear to. They seem to be enormous because of the thick white lines on the sides. Were they black, it’d be a different story. When wearing this sort of pants, I’d recommend to wear something of the same style (XL) otherwise, your body will seem disproportioned. See how the fabric on the legs is closer and closer to the skin as we go down? It is so because it helps us look taller and with longer legs.

Wedges: God bless wedges. I love these shoes. This pair especially makes our foot look smaller. And see the band covering the ankles? It makes them look thinner.

Don’t miss us tomorrow for the second part of the article! : )

Take Care. Lotta Love. Ciao!
