Chloé: “Léger” is the Keyword this Spring – Summer 2013 (Part 3)

Yellow, my friends!

It’s Thursday, which means just one more day for the weekend! Do you have any plans scheduled already? Me? I’ve got exams starting on Monday (Boomer!) but I’ll try to have some fun too.

Are you ready to meet the winner of our Cholé Spring-Summer 2013 Prêt-á- Porter Collection’s Top 3?

Voilà!

3. Look C) Hmmm. This got me thinking. Why did this dress win the competition? Because of the complexity of it’s making. The frills on the chest make it look smaller and give the effect of slimmer and longer arms along with a longer neck. The cut is an A cut that dissimulates bumps if any, though along with it you might lose your waist and hips.

The vertical line in the middle formed by seams make us look taller and thinner, thanks to the effect of the trace and the vertical division (which adds symmetry to our body). The contrast between the crazy neck detail and the classic and symmetric dress are what make this outfit quite a thing.

For me it’s a little too long, what do you think? I would have liked more if it was a tad shorter, maybe up to where the vertical visible seam is.

The colour is perfect: white, the “it” colour of every spring-summer.

So, tell me, do you think Chloé deserves some space in your closet? It definitely does in mine!

So that was it for this Top 3, crazy diamonds! I hope you liked reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Shine all over and dream on because, well, is there any other way for life to be lived?

Take Care. Lotta Love. Ciao!
