“I AM A WORK OF ART!” Said the one wearing Jean Paul Gaultier’s Haute Couture (Part 1)

Hi there, crazy diamonds!

How’s your day going? Mine? Pretty good! Thank you very much!

This week we’ll be talking about one of my favourite designers and his latest collection: Jean Paul Gaultier’s Haute Couture Spring-Summer Collection 2013.

Yes, I know New York’s Fashion Week is taking place right now but we haven’t spoken of Paris’ quite enough yet! Besides, trust me: these pieces are worth your time.

I truly believe there’s magic in his designs, like, just looking at them makes you think the world is full of the craziest adventures and made of your wildest dreams.

Let’s take a look, shall we? Here’s the 3rd place of my Top3:

1) Look A. It’s pretty hard to pull out a classy looking top. Hard, but not impossible; Gaultier here is showing us how it’s done. The low cut makes us look taller because it creates an extra visual layer in our outfit. Also, showing the shoulders like that stylize our figure and make our necks look longer.

See how there’s a deep-blue-strapless-bra-like part on the blouse? Another layer. It unites itself with the upper part of the sleeves forming a horizontal line that adds symmetry to our body.

The vertical stripes make us look taller and leaner; both effects reinforced by the bagginess of the garment and the position of the pants: see how they’re a little bit upper than usual?

Absolutely love the leather bracelets!

What do you say, crazy diamonds? Yes! Or Nah… I want it inside my closet ASAP!

Take care guys! Shine all over and dream on because doing so is so much fun and like is supposed to be like that: a total blast.

Take care of yourselves, alright? See you soon! Lotta Love.
