Benvenuti Signorina!: Armani Privé Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2013 (Part 1)

Hey there, crazy diamonds!

How are you doing today, huh? I hope you’re having a wonderful day! And if not so, well, miracles can happen anytime, you know? Just keep your eyes open.

So, this week will be dedicated to Armani Privé’s new Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2013 collection, because, well, why not?

Here’s the third place of my Top 3:

1) Look A. Formal but chic. Did anyone else felt like being transported to the 20s? It’s kind of Charleston-ish, isn’t it? But with a little bit of dandy, there. Anyway, I like it VERY much.

The long skirt starting right at the waist and finishing in the upper third of the shins make the model look taller, effect reinforced by the plainness of the fabric.

I love the vest! The circular cut stylizes the chest, and the V cleavage it shapes, makes her neck look longer. The black necklace reinforces this effect. The long earrings frame the neck.

The thing about the jacket, and I personally adore it, is that it isn’t meant to be closed. Again, it’s all about playing with the layers, into tricking the mind to think that the body is as slim as the visible part of the vest.

See the shoes? Colour: Nude. Why? To make the legs look longer. And the little black strip? To define the ankles and avoid the lower part of the outfit the shame of looking too simple.

The hat? Stunning. It makes her look taller, of course.

What makes the outfit so formal is the fact that the jacket and the skirt match. Perfect for wearing it at a brunch being a chief editor or an executive. Or just a real fashionista.

Well, crazy diamonds, it’s time to say goodbye! Shine all over and dream on!

Take Care. Lotta Love. Ciao.
