« Bienvenue, Ma Chérie ! » Ralph Lauren Brings “La France” To The Runway (Part 3)

During the week, we’ve been speaking of Ralph Lauren’s very French latest ready- to- wear collection; well, to be precise, we were talking about its best pieces.

You already know what outfits won the second and third places of this Top 3, don’t you?

Please, help me welcome the fist place and definite winner of this week’s competition!

3)   Look A. Tomboy all the way! Who said men where the only ones who looked hot in uniform?

  • Palette: Black, white, golden and red.
  • Components:
  • Baggy high cut black pants. Ideal for a bohemian style.
  • Star belt.  Lightens up the waist. Also, helps on making the mind focus on the central part of the torso.
  • White chemise with classic collar and vertical flounces. Keep in mind flounces augment the volume of the body; meaning you might look larger than you really are.
  • Navy –like jacket with red & golden details on the cuffs and red edges for the lapels. My favorite piece, I must confess. It’s gorgeous. You might wear this with a pair of jeans and still rock it. Pretty straight cut with defined lines. Slimming effect included, though you might look a bit square. I personally wouldn’t mind.

So, this has been it, my pretty friends! Wasn’t it delightful for the sight?

As we can see, Ralph loves classics: black high cut pants, white chemises and black jackets. This man knows his basics.

Time to leave, crazy diamonds! Shine all over and dream on, alright? I’ll make sure to do the same.

Take Care. Lotta Love. Ciao!

« Bienvenue, Ma Chérie ! » Ralph Lauren Brings “La France” To The Runway (Part 2)

On yesterday’s post we were getting started on the best looks of Ralph Lauren’s latest Ready- To –Wear collection, inspired in wonderful France.

Are you up to meet the second place?

2)   Look B. Trop belle! Don’t you just adore it? It’s got this subtle naïve air that contrasts with an undeniable poise. Only Ralph could do something like this, really.

  • Palette: Black & White.
  • Components:
  • Black high cut straight pants. Remember, high cut equals taller and thinner!
  • White chemise. A classic. Always a good idea.
  • Ribbon. Lovely. Calls the attention to the center of the body.
  • Black coat. This is the star of the outfit, quite honestly. You guys do recall layers are one of the best things on earth to apply to your style, don’t you? Well, this coat is already layered for you! Amazing. See? It contains short sleeves and long sleeves at the same time. The short sleeves are wide open so the long sleeves can go through easily and the arms appear to be slimmer. Also, the open bottom is great. The swinging of the fabric adds charm to every movement.

Are you as in love with Ralph Lauren as I am right now?

It’s time to leave already, my friends! But you go on shinning all over and dreaming on! Oh! I forgot. You’re crazy diamonds. You can’t help it.

Take Care. Lotta Love. Ciao!

« Bienvenue, Ma Chérie ! » Ralph Lauren Brings “La France” To The Runway (Part 1)

One of my top designers is Ralph Lauren. Why? Because of this chic air you get with a simple chemise from something as simple as his ready-to-wear collection. One thing I love of the garments he presents is that they’re wearable almost whenever and wherever.

Also, they’re timeless.

Anyway, for this year’s Autumn – Winter Ready – To – Wear Collection, he inspired in the beautiful Europe; more specifically, France.

Here, the third place of my Top 3 of Ralph Lauren’s latest collection:

1)   Look C. Oh, là là! Ok. I know this is stereotyping the French a lot, but hey! Blame it on Chanel, she’s the one who implemented the fashion of horizontal stripes!

  • Palette: Black & White.
  • Components:
  • Black high cut straight pants with two rows of buttons on the edges of the sides. Remember, high cut equals taller and thinner!
  • Black jacket. No buttons. Rounded bottom. Shirt collar style. Excellent slimming effect.
  • Horizontally striped sweater. Careful with this one, it might make you look larger! Wearing a jacket on top is a wise decision. Layers!
  • White chemise. A classic. Always a good idea.
  • Ribbon. Lovely. Calls the attention to the center of the body.

Do you guys have any comments on this one? I simply adore it! : D

Well, crazy diamonds, I guess I’ll see you tomorrow to meet the second place. I lo-lo-lo-love you! Shine all over & dream on!

Take Care. Ciao!

“Glamour is an attitude…

“Glamour is an attitude—it’s the expression of a certain kind of confidence. A glamorous woman is always elegant, but she also possesses an air of mystery and excitement. She’s dramatic—almost untouchable.” – Ralph Lauren
